I've been rather quiet on here lately. That's because a lot of my spare time has been spent training for what was going to be The 3 Peaks Challenge, raising money for men's mental health initiative, Dudes & Dogs. We had to postpone our 3 Peaks to next year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so in its place a smaller group of us walked the same 23 mile distance in The Malverns, with over 2000 metres of elevation change! Dudes & Dogs works as peer support, through organised walks (https://dudesndogs.co.uk/book-walks-here-1) and the Dudes & Dogs Online Community on Facebook. It gives blokes the opportunity to be listened to in supportive environments of like-minded men, with canine company to keep things relaxed and casual. I'm proud of the part I play in that, hosting walks in Gloucestershire and helping to run the Online Community, as part of the Panel.
