Lumber Studio is officially 1 year old!

One year down, countless projects done, and one very fitting birthday log.

No I couldn’t find a knife.

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these updates on how the business is going so here is a long one!

This also marks a whole year of being freelance! Big thanks to all the people who have sang my praises, recommended me or hired me. The reality of it is you have all helped me do a job I love as well as given me the flexibility to spend more time with my family.

Here’s to the next year!

I HAVE BEEN RUNNING MY OWN BUSINESS 6 MONTHS!

How did that happen? To celebrate I have updated my showreel.

The new stuff is at the beginning and the end so I guess you’ll have to watch it all.

I have also been doing improvements to my website, adding lots of case studies, I’d love to know what you think. Link in the bio.

The best feeling in the world? Seeing my work in print.

As someone who has always loved creating with my bare hands, there’s something incredibly grounding about shifting from pixels to paper. It was a true honour to be selected by .magazine to bring my digital work into the physical world.

Always grateful when clients take the time to share kind words.

Loved working with capturing photography of the barbershop and designing the logo for his product range. A great project that shows how I can support across multiple creative services.

If you need help with art direction, design, photography, or illustration, my door’s always open.
