I was recently contacted by Alex (different Alex to add some confusion!), who reached out because he wanted to get some nice, natural "living room" pictures for his mum of them all together. We headed down to the coast to catch the perfect golden hour light, and this is exactly what came out!

Moments like these are exactly why I love what I do. I hope these bring a massive smile to his mum's face every time she sees them on the wall!

When Dad takes over homeschool for the day, we break out the gear. 📸⚡️

Yesterday’s assignment: Transforming the kids' bedroom into a full-blown DIY photo studio. I officially demoted myself to "Studio Assistant" (mostly just moving the light and taping up a bedsheet backdrop), while the kids took over as Lead Photographers.

Lessons from the new Head of School:
1) Anything is a backdrop if you have enough masking tape. 🛏️
2) "Creative Direction" is mostly just a fancy way to boss your brother around.
3) The "Model Fee" is strictly paid in fruit snacks and extra screen time. 🍎
4) My kids have a better "eye" than I did at their age.

They handled the lighting, directed the poses, and even tackled the post-processing.

I think I might be out of a job.
