Unfortunately I have had a couple families this year decide that screenshotting and using AI to remove my watermark from their online galleries is better than paying for my services and having the high resolution images. This is very much against copyright law.
In my 13 years as a photographer, I have always valued trust & integrity with my clients and hope that they have felt welcomed, loved, appreciated & relaxed with myself, the session and their photos.
All I want is to create a calm and memorable experience for families with the outcome of beautiful treasured memories that you value. š¤
Due to this, I have now had to put more boundaries in place to stop this happening as, at the end of the day, itās my livelihood and income for mine & my daughters life that is being disrupted.
So these are the new steps:
1. I now have a horribly offensive watermark on all galleries moving forward.
2. All bookings will now pay a Ā£50 deposit & signed contract to secure your session, an interim payment of the minimum digital collection by the shoot date with then the option to upgrade the collection after seeing the gallery.
Iām sad to have to put more measures in place but after having galleries stolen twice now, it has to happen.
