Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Bird.

A day forecast for rain turned into bright blue skies and sunshine for an elegant ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall, followed by celebrations at The Hoxton in Shoreditch.

Fiona wore her nan’s earrings, knowing she wouldn’t be there to see her walk down the aisle. But in the most beautiful surprise, her 96 year old nan was there, waiting to watch her granddaughter get married. One of my favourite moments of the day, and such a joy to capture.

The day was filled with energy, joy and love, all wrapped in the most timeless style.

Beautiful from beginning to end.

Sometimes there are simply no words to express how magical a day was.

Grace and Jules’ day was one of them. It’s absolutely an honour and a privilege to witness the most beautiful people, energy and scenery.

High up in the Lakes, the sun shone down on this incredible day. Their marriage was blessed with joy and love.

Their first dance sung by the incredible ADMT Still Water was insane.

Cocktail hour is one of my favourite parts of the day. Stepping back and taking candids of the gorgeous moments where people are elated after the ceremony, socialising, all there to celebrate the same people. It’s such a magical part of the day.

Being fashion obsessed, I can never resist taking photos of the beautifully put-together outfits amongst all the candid joy, smiles and energy.

Victoria and Bernard’s cocktail hour did not disappoint, second shooting for the wonderful soul that is Laura Wade Photography.

No announcement, just saying hello.

My husband took this photo (with a little coaching beforehand), and somehow managed to capture me feeling completely at ease in front of the camera.

It’s a lovely reminder that the most natural photographs rarely come from knowing what to do. They come from feeling comfortable enough to simply be yourself.

The sparkle in Jodie’s eyes didn’t dim for a second all day.

Her bridal morning was pure magic, she was so wonderfully excited from the moment I arrived.

When they arrived back at Hodsock Priory | Nottinghamshire Wedding Venue after the church ceremony, she turned to me and said, “I’m honestly having the best day of my life.”

Exactly as it should be.

What an extraordinary honour it is to witness moments like these, and an even greater privilege to preserve them forever.

Peak season is peaking, and the school holidays are holidaying.

I’m posting a little less because every bit of my energy is going into my couples. Every wedding gets my absolute blood, sweat and tears (quite literally with this heat… and apparently the speeches are determined to make me cry this year).

I never forget that this is one of the most important days of their lives. From the conversations before the wedding, to the day itself, right through to gallery delivery, my priority is creating photographs that become lifelong heirlooms.

So, while I’m a little quieter on here, here’s another dose of dreamy portraits from Steph and Mike’s gorgeous Chelsea celebration.
