And this time, I had the BEST helpers — two very proud grandmas who helped me get him into the happiest mood ever! 🥹🤍

With a little help from Grandmas and a whole lot of smiles, we got the most adorable Cake Smash photos! 🎂✨

I absolutely love outdoor photoshoots 🌿

But when the sun comes out, the light, the colours and the natural surroundings make outdoor sessions so beautiful. And honestly, I love the relaxed, natural feel they bring to photographs.

Golden light, summer vibes and a beautiful connection between mum and daughter 🍋☀️

It was a very hot day for this outdoor session, but we had so much fun with the lemon theme and made the most of the sunshine.

I absolutely loved how this session came together — relaxed, playful and full of personality. 🍋

Maternity photography with a simple, timeless approach.

For this session, we worked with a neutral backdrop, soft lighting and a few different poses to create a varied collection of portraits without making the setup feel too complicated.

I love this style of maternity photography because it keeps the attention on the person rather than the props or background. The result is clean, elegant images that should still feel timeless years from now.

If you’re new here, I thought it was time to properly introduce myself.

I’m originally from Poland 🇵🇱 and I’m the photographer behind Joanna Photography.

I specialise in newborn, maternity, cake smash and family photography, creating beautiful, timeless images that you’ll want to keep and look back on for years to come.

Photography started as something I genuinely loved, and over the past year it has grown into a business that I’m incredibly proud of.

Behind the camera, I’m also a mum, a latino dancer and probably someone who takes far too many photos of her own children 😂

I love meeting new families, getting to know them and creating a relaxed experience where you can simply enjoy the moment while I capture it.

What should you wear for your maternity photoshoot?

You don’t need a fancy dress to create timeless maternity photos.

Here are my top tips:
✨ Choose neutral colours like white, cream, beige or soft earth tones.
✨ Avoid large logos and busy patterns.
✨ Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident.
✨ Coordinate with your partner rather than matching exactly.

And if you’re worried about what to wear—don’t be! I also have a selection of beautiful maternity dresses available for my clients to use during their session.

At the end of the day, it’s not about the outfit.

The most important thing I’m capturing is you—your story, your connection, and the emotions that make this chapter of your life so special. The clothes simply complement those moments, they don’t create them. 🤍

Simple, timeless outfits help keep the focus exactly where it belongs—on your growing family.
