Lucy & Lewis ❤️

Weddings don’t come much more beautiful, intimate and elegant than this.

Childhood sweethearts, surrounded by the family and friends who have been such an important part of their lives, it was genuinely lovely to see just how much everyone around Lucy and Lewis cared about making their day so special.

We started the day at Lucy’s mum’s house, where she had spent the night before in her old bedroom. Chloe from Admire Bridal Dressing was instrumental in making the bridal prep completely seamless and stress-free, while the hair and make-up team had the girls looking absolutely stunning.

It was also fantastic to see my good friends Robert & Derek from Lothian Classic Wedding Cars. We’ve shared so many weddings over the years and it’s always a pleasure to work alongside the guys.

From there, Lucy and Lewis headed to One Devonshire Gardens, where Neil and the team hosted the perfect intimate wedding reception.

And then the party began! Elliot G on sax provided the perfect chilled soundtrack while the room was turned around, before Los Perros took over and absolutely packed the dancefloor. Superb entertainment from start to finish!

Ian & Lars — a fairytale wedding at Dundas Castle 🏰❤️

What a couple of days!

With family and friends flying in from across the world, particularly the USA and Norway, Ian & Lars created the most incredible Scottish celebration.

Day one brought clay pigeon shooting, wh**ky and gin tasting and a summer BBQ. The Scottish weather had other ideas about keeping the BBQ outdoors, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits!

Then came the wedding day itself — and it was truly magical. Both grooms looked incredible in their suits, with their crown-shaped pocket handkerchiefs a lovely and thoughtful nod to the late Norman King.

The weather moved the ceremony from the Courtyard into the Croquet Room, but it created a beautiful and intimate setting. Minister Leslie Morrison was fantastic, while Marthe Melheim’s stunning singing made both the ceremony and first dance incredibly special.** 🎶

It was brilliant to have my good friend,Kai Films alongside me for both days too, capturing some incredible footage, while Cassien were absolutely superb and had everyone on their feet!

A huge thank you to Hayley Sinclair for keeping everything running so smoothly, and to Amy and the wonderful Dundas team, who were, as always, instrumental in making the whole celebration happen.

Ian & Lars, I honestly can’t thank you enough for having me alongside you for your fairytale wedding in Scotland. It was an absolute privilege. ❤️

What a fantastic wedding yesterday at Carlowrie Castle! ❤️

Fiona and Luke were such a lovely couple to spend the day with. Awesome all day long and never stopped smiling! Party and a massive celebration was the vibe for the day and I’ll never say no to that. What a day!

It was also amazing to finally work alongside Tony from KLS Wedding Films. Honestly, I can’t believe that after all these years in the wedding industry, this was the first time we’d actually worked together at a wedding! Such a lovely guy, and I’m already looking forward to hopefully many more weddings together in the future.

A special mention has to go to Finn too, who absolutely smashed his duties as ring bearer! 🐾❤️

Carlowrie Castle was epic as usual, and a huge shout-out to Ronin, Alicia, Lorena and the whole team — absolutely brilliant as always and such a pleasure to work alongside.

And Paddy Gordon… what can I say! His hosting, DJing and epic party lighting took the celebrations to another level. He’s not just a DJ — he makes the whole day an experience! 👏🙌 The atmosphere he creates is absolutely brilliant.

There was plenty of love surrounding Fiona and Luke too, with their brilliant bridal party and family helping make the whole day what it was. And what a way to finish it all off with their first dance to Accidentally in Love! ❤️

Congratulations again, Fiona and Luke. What a day! I hope you’re both having the most amazing time as newlyweds and enjoy that well-deserved minimoon in Lake Garda! 🇮🇹

What an amazing day yesterday celebrating Becca & Adam’s wedding at the always incredible Broxmouth Courtyard! ❤️

This one was particularly special for me. A couple of years ago, I was lucky enough to photograph Becca’s brother’s wedding (Rachael & Jordan), alongside my good friend Lee from Lee Richardson Films. Being asked back to capture another family wedding — and getting to work with Lee again — was absolutely brilliant.

David Smith was and is one of the best celebrants out there. Love working with David. It was the perfect ceremony.

And then there was Nala… 🐾❤️

The gorgeous golden retriever may just have stolen the show! She was an absolute star, and we managed to get some brilliant photos with Becca, Adam and their adorable girl.

The whole day was filled with love, laughter and a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish. A huge shout-out to Dan, who was awesome as always and kept the party going, and of course Simone and the brilliant team at Broxmouth. It really is one of my absolute favourite venues to photograph at.

Congratulations again, Becca & Adam. Thank you so much for having me along to capture such a special day — and please give Nala an extra treat from me! 🐶❤️

Kari & Andrew’s wonderful wedding at Garvock House ❤️

This was such a special wedding, made even more meaningful by the fact that Kari and Andrew first met while working at Garvock House. It really was the perfect place for them to celebrate their wedding day, surrounded by so many of their favourite people.

The day was full of love, laughter and plenty of emotion, with a brilliant group of family and friends who were clearly ready to celebrate! From the beautiful ceremony, complete with a ring warming and stunning violin music, to the incredible atmosphere throughout the day and into the evening, it was an absolute joy to be part of.

A special mention has to go to Amy, who was fantastic as always, looking after everything as Garvock House’s coordinator — before getting changed and returning as an evening guest to party the night away with Kari and Andrew! 😂🥂 I think that says everything about the relationship she has with the happy couple and just how special the day was.

Lisa & Brad’s spectacular wedding at Boturich Castle — and what a day it was! 🥂

From start to finish, this wedding had absolutely everything. So much love, emotion and laughter, with a few tears during the ceremony too. Lisa looked incredible in her gown and Brad looked every bit the part in his tux.

There were some gorgeous first looks throughout the morning — with mums Lorraine and Carrie, the bridesmaids and, finally, Lisa’s dad Drew, whose reaction as Lisa walked into the Drawing Room was incredibly special. ❤️

And that view… I honestly don’t think I’ve photographed a better ceremony backdrop in Scotland. Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond stretching out behind you — spectacular.

Maureen was a fabulous celebrant and it was brilliant finally getting to work together, while catching up with my good friend Liam from LPR Films was another highlight. Always a pleasure working alongside such a talented filmmaker and all-round brilliant guy.

Then Saxingh (Trav) brought the party to life, with guests dancing on the patio before Stuart kicked off the evening celebrations. Colin the Caterpillar made his appearance for the cake cut, the party really got going — and fireworks provided the perfect finale to an unforgettable day. 🎆

Tamara & James at The Virgin Hotel in Edinburgh. It was a bit of bad luck for the couple that “turned out way better!” On the day. Having been let down by the previous photographer, I was shooting Emma & Graham’s wedding and… well let’s just say it all came together perfectly!
Canada & Scotland defended on Edinburgh for the perfect celebration. Ritchie “The Gavel Guy” was, as always, the perfect host who entertained the guests and made sure the whole day ran perfectly.

Joe and the team behind the scenes made sure Tamrara, James and all the guests had the best time right through to the dancing in the evening.

Thank you both so much guys! So glad it was me in the end. It was perfect.
