Studio Westlake

Studio Westlake Considered but never contrived. Creatively inspired but never convoluted. This is our promise to you. Studio Westlake was born from a love of connection.

Connection between art and its inseparable relationship to the human experience. We believe in honest human stories captured through the lens of subtle creativity. Whether we are documenting traditional weddings or modern editorials our approach is the same. Real people and authentic moments. The great skill with weddings is knowing when to be present and when to be discreet. We promise discretion

and intuition in equal measure. Weddings are full of joy, for this reason we want to fuel the atmosphere not draw on it. We seek friendship over formality. We love connecting over social media and organising pre-wedding drinks. We genuinely only release our creations when we are truly happy with the results. No film is the same. No gallery is reproduced. Just as each wedding is unique, so too are our completed works.

Immediate energy.

The kind that takes over the room and doesn’t ask permission.

From the first beat to the last, it just kept building.

delivering a party like nobody else…

A small selection from Saturday at St Giles House, celebrating Charlie & Ed.

One of those days that carried its own rhythm from start to finish. Full rooms, loud tables, and a dance floor that didn’t really let up.

A few moments that felt simple in all the right ways.

Hampton Castle is not a backdrop.
It is a statement.

A setting of this scale demands clarity, confidence, and considered planning — all of which were met in full.

Soft candlelight, winter stone, and the quiet rhythm of a Christmas celebration.
A few moments from V&O’s candlelit wedding at Cowdray House — restrained, elegant, and full of warmth as the evening drew in.

Honestly, looking back at Emma and Luke’s 2024 wedding is one of those “ah, that was a good one” reflections. It’s a lovely reminder—especially on a chilly morning like today—of the warmth of a summer day that now feels a world away. And as I head off to a winter wedding today, it’s a fun contrast that shows how each celebration has its own charm.

There’s a certain honesty to the groom’s morning. No spotlight, no performance; just a group of men who’ve seen every version of him. They’ve shared years of stories, mistakes, lessons, and all the things that shape a person long before the wedding day. And somewhere in the middle of all that history, you see it clearly: he’s standing on foundations they helped lay.

“May you always have friends who see you and encourage the best in you.” — John O’Donohue
