Wowzers that was the most scorchio festival weekend ever!!! 🥵 And what a bloomin amazing EskFest it was! It may not be the biggest festival, but heck it packs a punch! So many amazing bands and musicians – I couldn’t get round them all, but the ones I heard were brilliant…. seriously, really talented people!! 👌🏻 This year they had the addition of a blacksmith offering sessions (the poor guy actually melted!). Also the return of the super lovely massage ladies (who also melted!), the sparkly entertainers, wood carver, potter, art sessions, amazing food vendors and loads more besides. I really love this little festival, it’s a fantastic community and everyone is so lovely and friendly. We’ve made a number of good friends here over the last few years & I love bumping into people that I have met & photographed the previous year. This year I was especially grateful for the close proximity of the river…quite bizarre to see almost the whole festival cooling down in the river at various points over the weekend! 😆 Can’t wait for Eskfest 2026….tickets on sale already! 🙌🏼

A few images from Thursday nights Aurora. Absolutely amazing once again, so lucky to see this. The reds were definitely visible to the eye, as were the pillars. I was however incredibly cold after 2.5 hours….I maybe won’t attempt doing that in Iceland just yet! 🥶😆
