It has been an absolute privilege being part of 's historical Crystal Shop The Amethyst Cathedral (previously known to locals as 'This is it ... Universe' and it's new renovation.

But I was also lucky to witness it's 90 year old founder come back to see her beloved shop in it's new phase!

This footage was taken a few months ago (in the slightly warmer months) when Elisabeth Michael, founding owner of the shop that sits on 48-50 E High Street, Crieff, Scotland, was able to visit and see the changes in the shop she created and ran for over three decades!

The shop has now been running under the reigns of her Great-Niece, Lhamo Grace, who aims to keep the shop open in her great aunt's legacy under a co-operative ownership.

It's not everyday you get to photograph rocks for a living. Unless you're me!

I'm really enjoying being able to help out The Amethyst Cathedral Crystal Shop in with their product photography at the moment. The shop has a treasure trove of Rocks and Crystals that really polish up nicely in front of the Camera.

While I absolutely hate how modern day mobile phones are kicking cameras out of the way, I am impressed how they can be used to capture images like below when used correctly. How's that for a lightbox and a cheap Samsung?

My current photography client has me like a child in a sweet shop 🍭
Look at this Jewellery! 😍

I may end up being paid in Citrine and Turquoise the way things have been going ✨️

I'm absolutely loving being the photographer and media consult for The Amethyst Cathedral in at the moment.

This gem of a shop (pun intended) has one of the largest Crystal collections in Scotland, and has been curated by 90 year old Elisabeth for the past 35 years!

The shop holds some of her unique and high-quality finds that I've never seen before (which you'll probably see photographs of in the next coming weeks).

For now, though, enjoy these sneak peaks (by me) of what you'll be able to collect in-store or on the upcoming e-shop! If I haven't already bought them for myself.

I've always loved old buildings and doors.
The history behind the walls and the stories they can tell.

They offer the perfect backdrop to a photoshoot.

My Newborn photography is a little different from the norm.

I like to focus on those details that you'll miss sooner than you think...
Those tiny little toes that start walking before you know it.
Those little dimples in their skin that start to change as they grow.
Those eyelashes that they'll eventually grow into.
Those lines of hair that you can still smell that 'new baby smell' even though they haven't needed a nap in years now.

My Newborn photography isn't staged, it's a profile of all the things you never want to forget.
