My aspiration is to make an authentic and nostalgic record of your journey in motherhood - from pregnancy, first days with a newborn baby at home, through the craziness of being a mum to a toddler and beyond.

Seemingly random selection of photos I randomly pulled out of old folders. They are all different, but one thing is the same - emotions, those real ones.

This is my main focus, always.

Let’s be friends :)

I’m a photographer for mums who Walię real emotions and fun in the photos instead of forced smiles.

If this is your vibe - give me a follow :)

I’ve always believed that if you say your dreams out loud there’s a bigger chance they might actually happen.

So here’s my little photography wish list for this year.

Families I would absolutely love to photograph.

Maybe you live in the Barbican.
Maybe your kids are growing up around skate ramps.
Maybe your house is full of guitars, paint brushes or tattoos.

If you see yourself here, send me a message.

I’m offering a few of these sessions this year at a special creative rate because honestly… I just really want to make these photos happen.

And if you know someone who fits one of these — send this to them.

When most people search for a photographer, they go straight to the portfolio - and honestly, that makes total sense. Style is everything.
But here’s what I didn’t expect to matter as much as it does: the actual person you’re hiring.

Think about it - you’re spending an hour or two with someone, often with your kids in tow. If the energy feels off, rushed, or just a little awkward... everyone picks up on it. Especially the little ones.

So when I’m asked for advice, I always say: yes, find someone whose photos you love. But also ask yourself - do I actually think I’d enjoy spending time with this person?

It’s also worth knowing how they work. Some photographers don’t have a studio, for instance - not because they’re just starting out, but because their whole approach is built around natural light, outdoor sessions, or being in your own home. That’s a style choice, not a gap.

For me personally, I always have a chat with families before we even think about booking. Just a relaxed conversation - get to know each other, talk about what you’re hoping for, see if it feels right.

Because when people feel comfortable? The photos kind of take care of themselves 🤍

I walked into their new London apartment and there were still boxes in the corners, that slightly chaotic “we’ve just moved and nothing quite has a place yet” energy in the air, and I remember thinking how much I love photographing families exactly in moments like this.

It was mum, dad, their little girl who honestly did not stop smiling the entire time, and a very important tiny dog who clearly believed this was all organised for him. It was our first photoshoot together, so we gave ourselves time - we had a coffee, we chatted, we let the little one warm up to me, and I slowly walked around the flat figuring out where the light felt softest and which corners already felt like home for them.

At the beginning there’s always that tiny moment of “how do we stand, what do we do,” especially when we’ve never worked together before, but then something shifts. They relax. They forget about me. And that’s when it just clicks - and I click away.

This is what I love most about home family sessions. It can be your very first weeks in a new flat, with unopened boxes and echoey rooms, or it can be the house you’ve lived in for ten years. If it’s your home, it already tells the story. The space is part of who you are at this exact stage of life.

One day these photos won’t just be “remember when we had just moved in.” They’ll be the beginning of your family story in that space - before more toys appear, before the walls get scuffed, before life fills every corner even more.

That’s what I want these images to be - not just pretty pictures, but a document of this season, of this feeling, of you as you are right now.

If you’re looking for a relaxed, personalised experience where you don’t have to perform or pose perfectly, and you just want photos that feel like you, I’m here.

I could go on about what it’s like to have a photoshoot with me, how relaxed the atmosphere is, how I gently guide you, and how I create space for your kids to just be themselves.

But honestly, what truly matters to me is hearing my clients share their experiences in their reviews.

Most families leave their feedback on Google, and you’re always welcome to check it out there. But I wanted to share a few heartfelt words here too - not just my version of the story, but theirs.

It’s one thing for me to say the sessions are calm, natural, and pressure-free. It’s another when amazing mums like you say you actually felt that way.And that’s what means everything to me.

Hi, I’m Ania, a family photographer based in South London.

My goal during every photoshoot is to create a relaxed atmosphere where every member of the family can truly be themselves. That’s how the photos become authentic and tell the real story of your family.

How do I do it?

A lot happens before the session. We have a call to talk about your expectations, your worries, and what matters most to you. I plan each photoshoot around your family’s dynamics - including the things you genuinely enjoy doing together and suggest locations that feel natural and comfortable.

During the session, I let the kids lead the way (especially if toddlers are involved 😉). There’s no forcing a two-year-old to sit and cuddle on cue, so I don’t try. Instead, I start by playing with them, often before I even take the camera out of my bag. If they trust me, we’re already halfway there.

At the same time, I gently guide the adults, so you always know what’s happening and feel comfortable and confident.

The rest is natural interaction, play, and my trained eye catching the in-between moments - the ones that truly show who you are.

I offer maternity, newborn and family photoshoots across South London, Surrey and Kent - in your home, in the city, or in nature.

I document your journey through motherhood, so your husband’s blurry phone snaps aren’t the only record of your family 😉

If you’re thinking about booking, let’s chat and plan your session together.

I’m a family photographer in London and the most important thing for me is that the atmosphere during the shoot feels easy and relaxed. I really care that everyone can just be themselves - kids and adults included.

That’s why my photos look natural and real. They’re not about perfect posing, but about your family as you are.

How do I do it?

Before every session I always chat with mums first. We talk worries, expectations, family lifestyle, favourites things to do, things you absolutely hate.

This way I can plan the session that really fits around your lifestyle and gets a chance to show the real dynamics in your family.

On the day I start with getting to know everyone a bit, that happens before I take my camera out of the bag. Don’t be surprised if I play a little with your kids first. If they get to like and accept me - we have half of the success already ;)

But I don’t forget about you - the grownups. I know navigating kids and camera in your space may be a lot, so I’ll guide you around with prompts, will explain what I’m doing, because understanding what’s going on around you helps your relax and feel control.

What comes out of it are sessions full of laughter, movement and little real moments - a really nice experience, and photos that actually FEEL like you.

I photograph families, from the maternity moments, newborn stages and all the wilderness with older kids.

If you think we could be a good match let’s talk! I’d love to meet you ❤️

I have low energy today so no hooks, reels, trends just photos from my last session with this lot (our 4th one, including their wedding).

Look at them and imagine this was taken within a hour on a Saturday morning, among chats, teas and chasing dogs.

Lazy mornings without special effects or efforts are my favourite to photograph. Just as you are, who you are in this moment.

Maybe it’s time to book that photoshoot to have something more than iPhone snaps? Think about it, I’m always happy to chat.

Today I found this album, from a newborn photoshoot of baby Nola dona 2 years ago. I’ve posted some photos before, but today I choose different ones - not those perfect family portraits, but those showing the personalities and dynamics in the family.

There’s space for everything within that 90minutes we have together - wild plays on the couch and gentle cuddles.

I follow your children energy and gently direct the photoshoot to give you a variety of photos - those lovely cuddly portraits and those more wild ones, which you’ll look at and say “ahhh, that’s her spirit captured right there!”

If you’d like to invite me to your home to photograph your family, I’m now taking bookings for January onwards.

Cant wait to meet you :)

A bit of chaos. A bit of noise. Snacks everywhere.
Toddlers being toddlers.
Parents on the floor.
Cuddles on the sofa.
Real life, not a curated Pinterest moment.

If you’re worried your house isn’t tidy enough…
or that your toddler won’t “cooperate”…
or that the baby will feed/cry/need changing right when I arrive - this is literally what a newborn session is.

I don’t fight the chaos.
I embrace it.
Because this is the season you’re in - wild, soft, messy, tender.
And it’s beautiful.

My job isn’t to pose you into perfection.
My job is to step into your space as an observer, guide you gently, and help you find the magic inside the everyday moments you barely notice.

You don’t need a spotless home.
You don’t need a well-behaved toddler.
You don’t need a plan.

You just need to be you in your real, honest family rhythm and I’ll handle the rest.

If this is the kind of newborn session you want, you’ll feel right at home with me ❤️

5 years as a photographer… and people STILL don’t believe me when I tell them these things
Your house doesn’t need to look like Pinterest.
Your kids don’t need to “behave”.
You don’t need to know how to pose.
And feeling awkward at the start? Completely normal.

Honestly — most of my clients arrive stressed, apologising for the mess, the noise, the toddler, the baby, the hair, the everything.
And every single time we end up with photos that show what’s beautiful between them leaving all that chaos behind.

Trust the process and photographer.
Maybe this is your sign to book a photoshoot you’ve been thinking about, but was worried about the things mentioned above.

DM me to chat about it!
