I'm pleased to say that this image has won Birdguides Photo of the Week!
This Red-necked Phalarope was present at Seaton Wetlands for a couple of days at the tail end of August, and is the first ever record of this species for my local patch here.
It was a very busy bird, and I was trying to get a different/interesting pic of it... needless to say I was quite happy when I saw this moment happen. I'm sure the fly wasn't though π
2 bird images in a row! Looking at the forecast, there's not going to be any pics of stars for a while, but I'll do my best!
