For a 90 minute match we left home at 12pm and returned at 1.30am. Worth it though as my son had a brilliant time being part of 82000 people in attendance

I was very fortunate to be in Torquay when the last total eclipse visible in the UK happened. August 11th 1999. I obviously got mesmerised when totality happened as these are the only ones I can find. Either that or I had used up my 24 exposures on the disposable camera 🤦‍♂️
My location for this evenings partial eclipse is no where near as perfect.
