of solid timber (as are all our products) and will therefore need maintaining in the form of oiling, less so with our door plaques and heart shaped gifts. As standard practice, we give all our products 3-4 coats of oil (food safe oil applied to our serving boards). Being a natural product wood, over time will start to deform, misuse or lack of care will accelerate this. Our serving boards are for the purpose of serving only, it is not recommended that you use them as chopping boards due to daily cleaning required, the constant exposure to moisture would cause them to warp and discolour. We accept no liability for the misuse of any of our products, although we are more than happy to give advice in maintenance.
