Never in a million years did I think my little business would make it to FINALIST stage in the Small Business Awards. 🥹

What started as a way for me to be more present with my son and create a better life for my family has turned into something I’m incredibly proud of.

Behind every late night, every risk, every moment of self-doubt… was the reason I started in the first place: my family.

To now be recognised as a finalist honestly means more than I can put into words. I’m so grateful for every single person who has supported me, trusted me, shared my business, booked with me, or simply cheered me on along the way.

No matter what happens next, this already feels like such a huge win. ✨

✨ JOB VACANCY – WEDDING STYLING ASSISTANT ✨

As our wedding styling business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable, hardworking and friendly Styling Assistant to join our team on a freelance basis

This role would suit someone who:
• has a creative eye and attention to detail
• is practical, hands-on and hardworking
• is physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy décor items
• is reliable, punctual and committed
• can work effectively under pressure
• is flexible with weekdays, weekends and long hours
• is available for early morning starts and occasional midnight collections
• holds a full UK driving licence
• is confident driving a van independently
• is organised and able to work both alone and within a team

✨ Duties may include:
• wedding venue setup and styling
• loading and unloading vans
• transporting décor and stock to venues
• lifting, moving and arranging styling items
• packing down after events
• late night / midnight collections
• stock prep and organising in the warehouse/studio
• helping bring couples’ wedding visions to life

⏰ Working hours vary depending on weddings and events.
Typical working hours can start from 7am until approximately 4pm, however some weddings may require longer hours and late-night collections.

📍 We are based in Whitwick , Leicestershire, where we depart from for wedding set-ups and collections.

This role is ideal for someone flexible and dependable, as wedding and event work can involve long days, weekend work and travelling to venues.

One whole year of Happily Captured Content 🥹✨

I can’t quite believe I’m writing this… today marks 1 year since I took the leap and started my content creation business 🤍
In the past year, I’ve had the absolute honour of capturing so many beautiful weddings, with some incredible ones still to come (and I genuinely can’t wait!) I’ve been lucky enough to be part of exciting events, styled shoots, and meet the most amazing suppliers - many of whom I’m so grateful to now call friends.
This journey has been more than I ever imagined, and I feel so thankful for every single booking, message, recommendation, and moment along the way.
Here’s to year two… I have a feeling it’s going to be even more special ✨
