With a heart full of gratitude, I’m honored to share that “The Whirling Dervish – A Dance of Inner Power” won Best Director – Super Short Film at the Remember the Future World Film Festival in Cannes for the February 2026 edition

This film was born from a deep love for symbolism, motion, spirituality, and the silent power carried through dance. Seeing this vision recognized in Cannes is a beautiful reminder that art created from the soul can travel far and touch hearts beyond borders.

In the heart of Samarkand, where the splendor of ancient architecture blends with the tranquility of sacred lands, a timeless journey comes to life. We had the privilege of capturing this remarkable moment in the heart of Registan Square, seeking to convey the essence of its magnificence. Just obtaining the permit, seizing the moment, and being granted permission to conduct this shoot in one of the world’s most iconic squares was an unforgettable experience.
