I think, that you can never have too many photos.
I have that feature on my phone where if I pop into the photos app, it gives me these little summaries or video montages of ‘this time 5 years ago’ and I get to be transported back in time, and I get to see my babies being babies again.
Photographs must be the closest thing we have to time travel, and so it stands to reason, the more photographs we have, the more we get to travel?
Who cares if they are chaotic, wild, sad, soft, full of snuggles or twirling skirts. If they are full of the treasures they live to collect, rocks, flowers, shells - pressed deeply in their palm because they are just so precious at that moment in time.
One day will be the last day. The last brought home treasure, the last time you pick them up, the last time they kiss your cheek, and documenting it now means you can revisit that moment whenever you like, and that, is special 🤍
