Note: roof did not get retracted, it was blown off by said party.

Remember how I said earlier there was a special surprise at James and Ellie's wedding...? Well here it is. A Spitfire flypast. This beauty came flying straight over the top of the officer's mess at the Army Air Core HQ - I could almost touch it.

Unbelievable experience and so glad I managed to get a shot of this historic machine.

Some more of these coming up in future posts, but just wanted to show you just how good James looked on his wedding day to the beautiful Ellie. There's just something about military weddings and the extra traditions that go with them. Soooo many good shots from this and a VERY special surprise (which I'll post later!)
