💜🌸 A Sea of Purple with a Remarkable History! 🌸💜

Beautiful purple crocuses fill the churchyard of Holy Trinity Church, Chesterfield, creating a stunning February scene.

This peaceful churchyard has an incredible historic connection — it is the final resting place of George Stephenson (1781–1848), the pioneering railway engineer known as the “Father of Railways.” 🚂

🦅 Peregrine Falcon Spotted on Chesterfield’s Crooked Spire!

After receiving a message from Karen Hancock, who works close to Chesterfield’s Crooked Spire, I finally got the opportunity to capture a photograph of this magnificent bird of prey from a distance. 🦅📸

The photograph was taken using the telephoto lens on my drone, allowing me to capture the peregrine falcon without disturbing it.
