A selected few more from the magical Cuevas del Drach (Drach Caves) of Porto Cristo, Mallorca with thousands of stalactites/stalgmites and part of the underground lake. In the final image you can see the audience ready for the quartet to appear on a boat and play some excerpts of famous classical pieces, including Nessun Dorma. No photography was allowed during the performance but it was truly a wonderful event.

No flash was allowed in the caves so this was a real challenge and post processing was required to correct the colour and white balance due to the type of artificial lighting in use. I believe the water was highlighted blue because of the underwater lighting.

Throwback to a selection from All Together Now, the final show at the Pomegranate Theatre before it was closed for refurbishment. Soon to reopen as ‘1435’ in recognition of Robert Stephenson’s achievement of introducing a standard gauge track width.
