Autumn is beautiful in Essex and there are many activities around for you to enjoy with your family.

Here is five ideas to keep your little ones entertained this Autumn:

spacechelmsford have organised a great craft treat this Autumn. Design your own haunted house with an exciting variety of craft supplies.

are open from the 4th October. With a pumpkin house, games area, pumpkin tree, family quiz and refreshments it makes a fantastic family trip this autumn.

offer pyo apples up until 1st November. If your children loved strawberry picking this year give this a go. A great excuse for making a crumble or two 🤷🏼‍♀️🍎

What to wear for your brand shoot?

The short answer: something that feels like you but also photographs beautifully.

Here are my top tips to help you look and feel confident on the day:

1️⃣ Dress for your brand – Choose colours and styles that match your business vibe. Are you polished and professional? Relaxed and creative? Somewhere in between? Your outfit should reflect that.

2️⃣ Choose flattering colours – Soft, rich, or neutral tones photograph well and won’t cast odd colours on your skin. (Neon pink might be fun, but it can be tricky in photos!)

3️⃣ Add layers & accessories – A blazer, scarf, statement jewellery, or even props related to your work can add variety without needing a full outfit change.

💡 Pro tip: Bring 2–3 outfit options so we can mix and match with different backdrops. It’ll make your gallery feel bigger and more versatile.

Meeting this couple was an absolute blast! We had an incredible time at Writtle Sunflowers and Lucy was absolutely glowing. I love capturing the beginning of a families new chapter and in this case the very start of parenthood.

✨Early Glow Sessions✨ from August onwards the Sun will start to set earlier. This means that golden hour sessions are more easily accessible to families with young children. You can have a session with me and make most of that gorgeous golden light. Whist your children enjoy running through the long grass and playing games.
