A late evening trip to Gomm's Wood Local Nature Reserve, nr Penn. Spotted a solitary bee orchid, a few pyramidal orchids and common spotted orchids in their hundreds. All within a 5 minute walk of the car park. Bee orchids have been fairly elusive this past couple of years due to the dry springs we're having. So chuffed to spot this little beauty.

I always look forward to seeing what Bucks Art Weeks has to offer in Chalfont St Peter, and always happy to take a few photos of our hugely talented artists.

It runs until the 21st June, so head out and explore the fantastic art the village has to offer. If you haven't had a Chalfont Summer Art Trail leaflet through your letterbox, pop into Fired Works in CSP where the lovely Marie has plenty.

Back to the The Old Court in Windsor to capture another hugely impressive production by the College performing arts students. So many talented actors, I've no doubts we'll be seeing a few of these faces on our tellys over the coming years!

A day spent photographing the incredible Queen Elizabeth II Garden at Regent's Park shortly following its official opening by Princess Anne a couple of weeks back. Cleverly designed by landscape architects HTA and built by Blakedown Landscapes.

An incredible RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Gold for both the Eric Young Orchid Foundation and The Orchid Society of Great Britain displays at Press Day yesterday. So so proud of all involved. Honoured to play a small part documenting a fab week so far!

One or two celebs pottering around two, occasionally taking an interest in orchids! An amazing day all around!

A day at Chelsea Flower Show yesterday 'helping' the The Orchid Society of Great Britain assemble their beautiful display. I have to confess my orchid arranging contributions were minimal. Naturally I ended up taking on unofficial photography duties for both the OSGB and our lovely neighbours, the Eric Young Orchid Foundation. Thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with a wonderful bunch of people!

Another fantastic project photographed for landscape architects Turkington Martin. A few shots of the newly improved Merstham Recreation Ground from ground level and way above using the drone. Thanks to all those who were happy to be snapped, especially the guys playing basketball... you were all superstars!

A late sunny evening stroll around a very peaceful Homefield Wood nr Marlow on the hunt for early flowering orchids. Plenty on show, some far easier to spot than others, but each and every one a miracle of nature!

In addition to the eye-catchingly vivid pink military orchids, you'll find white helleborines, fly orchids, common twayblade, broadleaved helleborine and common spotted orchids.
