Splintered Self and In Reflection

Images of Izzy and Faith from a project currently in development, created entirely through photography, lighting and creative post-production — no AI used — exploring how people really see themselves.

The face we present to the world can be very different from the person we see in the mirror. The fragments around Izzy reflect those different versions — how we see ourselves, how others see us, and perhaps the parts of ourselves we keep hidden.

In Faith’s image, the broken glass becomes a barrier between who she is and how she perceives herself — questioning and confronting the very person she sees in the reflection.
