This is a seasonal workshop built around one of the most beautiful times of year in the Scottish woods, the short but magical bluebell season.

We’ll explore one of Scotland’s most stunning bluebell woodlands, along with a second hidden gem location, while focusing on:

Woodland composition
Making order from chaos
Macro photography
Intimate woodland scenes
Seeing and simplifying the landscape

Available as one to one tuition or for small groups of up to four.

A bit of lovely news I’m very grateful to share.

I was honoured to be named Runner-Up in the 2026 British Wildlife Photography Awards, and I’m also delighted to have three images included in the beautiful hardback book from the 14th British Wildlife Photography Awards, which is out now.

To have one image recognised as runner-up is incredibly special, and to see three of my photographs featured in print in the book makes it all the more meaningful.

It’s always a strange and rewarding feeling seeing your work take on a new life on the printed page.

Hey folks, quick update 🚴‍♂️
I’ve wrapped up my charity cycle for Young Lives vs Cancer this August! I started with a goal of 300 km, but I pushed on and ended up cycling 495 km (308 miles). If it wasn’t for taking a wrong turning, I could’ve rounded it up to a nice 500 km — which is totally going to bug my OCD! 😅
