Different sport here - this was taken at the top of Wrynose Pass, Cumbria a few weekends ago. Complete respect and admiration for those who cycle over a large amount of miles, but further compounded when the route chosen gets as steep as it does on this road! Shame this image may not reach the individual, but glad I caught his moment on the crest of this winding road.

It's been inspiring watching Ian Mills embrace everything about this sport. Witnessing his perseverance to overcome new challenges, with a sheer grit to succeed, and feeling him soak up every new bit of information. 🧗‍♀️

Completely in love with capturing these moments, of both myself and my friends, doing an activity that feels both rewarding and freeing. Plus, Ian always looks cool as heck in photo's! 🤟📸

Here we see him trying out a boulder problem at a local spot in Armathwaite, Cumbria - This image exudes stance and power, excellent.

Creative look at some of my recent rock climbing images 🧗

By isolating the climber emphasis is given to the positions they've found themselves in, and of the rock structure itself. I quite like the effect and will endeavour to get more over the summer. I like the idea of these becoming a collection 📸✌️

Wrynose Pass, Lake District 📍
One of my favourite places, the hills roll with the incline casting trailing shadows. Panoramic mountain walks and a steady peace to the road which winds within.

I captured these shots whilst on a climbing trip this weekend, and thought it was a good reflection of what makes it special to me ✨️

The first image shows Long Scar crag, our place of activity - I'll post additional photos soon 📸

The distant sheep shout on the winds, and the overlap of ground create depth unique to this special place ⛰️

Headed out for a climbing adventure today to Headend Quarry, Caldbeck. 📸🧗‍♂️

Didn't get a whole load of snaps, as I was too busy actually climbing but wanted to share these two of James seconding a route called Headend Chimney.

I think I'll be looking into doing more climbing photography in the near future, as it'll be a great way to combine my interests and hobbies (plus an excuse to order more gear 😉)

There were SO many ladybirds 🐞 around the campsite—would’ve been rude not to snap a few before we packed up. Just as we were getting ready to leave, we spotted this chunky moth 🦋 clinging onto one of the awning guy ropes. It was hanging on tight, but we managed to move it gently. Pure luck that one of the ladybirds decided to crawl up the same rope too, giving us a rare little moment with both of them in frame ✨📸

Between the noise and the crowds, I took a wander into the glen, in the beautiful Kelburn gardens, and spotted these growing on a log—shiny from the rain and tucked away in the shadows. Pretty sure they’re oyster mushrooms, just quietly doing their thing on the forest floor. Thought it was a nice little moment to share 🍄📸

Humans of Kelburn Garden Party – Part 3 of 3
The final chapter — for now.

This last set rounds off the series with more of the faces, feelings, and fleeting moments that made this year unforgettable. These sets capture what I think Kelburn is about: people being unapologetically themselves, together.

Thanks to everyone who brought colour, kindness, and chaos to my lens — and to those who’ve reached out, tagged friends, or shared the love. If you haven't seen the other parts, go check out my page.

Here’s to the next one. Hopefully I’ll be back with my camera — maybe this time officially.

"Humans of Kelburn Garden Party"
Still soaked, still smiling.

Part 2 of 3!

Here’s to the energy, the effort, and the individuality that filled the forest with life.

"Humans of Kelburn Garden Party"
More than music — it’s the people that make it magic 🎪✨

This is Part 1 of 3 – a portrait series celebrating the humans that truly are the party.

I brought my camera along this year — not as crew, but as part of the crowd — and found myself drawn to the colour, character, and joy that people bring to the woods, the hills, and the hidden corners of Kelburn.

Despite the rain (and there was a lot of it!), the energy never faded. Weeks of planning, dreaming, and dressing up came alive in the mud, glitter, and shared smiles. These aren’t press shots — they’re little moments of freedom, creativity, and connection. 📸
