July 1st was the day I told Bella we were engaged. I can’t tell if she’s happy, shocked or gutted. 😅

The rest of the month was four weddings, second shooting, photographing so many comedians (I particularly love these ones of Dani Johns).

I celebrated a lot, received lovely gifts from my girlfriends. And I made memories during summer which might sound obvious to so many people. But when you work in weddings, sometimes (and even for years) you find the summer flies by and you haven’t done anything other than work. This July I’ve made up for it, a trip to Wimbledon with the future mother-in-law and ABBA in London. 🤌🏻❤️

This is your reminder that engagement photos don’t have to look like engagement photos.

They can look like the two of you crammed into a photo booth in London.

They can look like wandering aimlessly, stopping for coffee, getting windswept, laughing too loudly, and forgetting you’re being photographed.

The goal isn’t to create a version of yourselves.

It’s to document the one that already exists.
Real always wins.
