My name is Katie and I am a photographer based in Canterbury, Kent. Over the years I have captured special moments - friends babies, parties and engagements and my soul was always set on fire when capturing those special intimate moments, but they were very much few and far between until I photographed my best friends newborn daughter a couple of years ago. It was an honour I couldn’t describe. I

knew then this was an area I truly wanted to explore but it wasn’t until I photographed my eldest friends newborn baby a year later that I really felt that it was time to really explore this magical world of family to capture those really special moments for really special people - it was a calling I could no longer ignore. I am professional, approachable, kind and a fully inclusive photographer.

While on holiday in beautiful Bari in Puglia, I had the absolute joy of stumbling across a wedding taking place outside the stunning Bari Cathedral. I had no idea it was happening - I just turned a corner and there it was: A sea of smiles and the most gorgeous couple surrounded by love.

Even though I’ve never photographed a wedding before, I instinctively reached for my camera (who knows, maybe this is the start of something)....There was something so romantic about the whole scene - completely unplanned, but so full of heart. I quietly captured a few moments just completely swept up in the atmosphere.

It was one of those lovely little surprises that make travelling feel so special. If by any miracle this post finds its way to the couple, I’d be so happy to pass the photos on to them 🤍✨
