Most people know me for one thing. Usually weddings, sometimes a team headshot day. That makes sense, but there’s a lot more I work on than that, so here’s a look at some of the other photography work I do, in case it’s useful for you, your company, or someone you know.
Weddings. I know when to step in and when to step back. My aim is for you to have the best day, get the best pictures, and for nobody to feel bossed around in the process.

Headshots. One person or a full team in a day. I bring proper studio lighting to your office or set up a pop-up at your event, so nobody has to travel or stand around waiting. Most people are in and out in a few minutes and walk away with a photo they’re genuinely happy to put their name to - which, for a lot of people, is a first.

Events. Festivals, parties, charity runs, family days. I came up shooting in nightclubs, so whatever the lighting does, you get the energy and atmosphere of the day back - ready for social, press, or wherever needed.

Corporate. Conferences, expos, awards nights, launches. Over fifteen years’ experience means I can read what a day needs and shoot to it, then get the edited images back to you fast - ready for the press release, the socials, wherever they need to go.

Property. This one takes me around some of the most stunning properties in Cambridgeshire and beyond, shooting for estate agents, developers and designers. Interiors, exteriors, holiday lets, commercial spaces - turned round in 24 hours.

If something’s coming up, for you or for someone you know, send me a message and tell me what you’re after. I’d like to help if I can.

I’ve shot a few weddings at Swynford Manor now and I have to say it’s one of my favourites.

It sits just outside Newmarket on the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk border. The interiors lean editorial - darker walls, generous windows pulling in some of the best natural light I’ve worked with at any venue. Round the back there’s a pergola and a garden where I find myself pulling couples for portraits any time the schedule allows.

If Swynford’s on your venue list, I’ve got a proper photographer’s tour of the place coming out next week over on the blog - link in bio.

I can’t wait to be back there later this year

I’ve been working with the team now known as (formerly Living Sport) since before lockdown - staff days, event coverage, and colour runs that got properly messy. It’s one of those client relationships that just keeps going.

They’re going through a full rebrand at the moment - new name, new website, the lot - and wanted a fresh set of headshots to match.

300 headshots photographed, edited and delivered inside 2 days - thanks to a lighting rig I’ve been building for months.

Two days at ExCeL London for Opus Agency. The brief pushed me to finalise a new lighting setup - beautiful enough for proper headshots, quick to move, and able to hold its own against an ultra-wide colour-changing backdrop cycling through every brand colour as the queue moved along. Every person got a backdrop tone that suited them. The same rig handled the group shots too.

Now it’s dialled in, the whole thing takes minutes to set up. And when the lighting is right at capture, the edit takes care of itself.

Thanks to Sam ( ) for the tips that pulled it together.

Got a show or expo coming up and want headshots that look like a campaign, not a conveyor belt? Drop me a message.

It was great working with the Opus Agency for Current 2026 at the ExCel London 📸

Some of the best moments at a wedding are the ones nobody’s paying attention to (I am).

You’ll get all the photos you’d expect from the day - the group shots, the ceremony, the speeches, the first dance. The candids though, are something I really enjoy looking out for.

The hug full of emotion. The kid mid-speech pulling a face only a five-year-old can pull. The look someone gave that they didn’t know they were giving. They tend to be the photos that get talked about and remembered for years.

If you’d like that kind of mix in your gallery, drop me a message - I’d love to hear about your day.

Some weddings just stay with you.

Hannah and Jason were relaxed, warm, and completely present for every bit of their day. Their family pulled me in from the moment I arrived - the kind of welcome that makes the whole day easier and a lot more enjoyable. The kind of people who make it feel less like work and more like a genuine privilege to be there.

Sometimes a wedding stops feeling like a photoshoot and starts feeling like you’ve just been invited to spend the day with people you’ve known for years. Hannah and Jason trusted me completely, went with the flow, and let me do what I do. That kind of trust is everything. It’s what gets the real moments - even if getting them occasionally involves negotiating a reed bed.

They’ve just left me this review, and I’ll be honest - I had to put my phone down for a minute.

“I’m pretty sure he could take a picture of a turd and turn it into a masterpiece.” - Hannah & Jason, 2025. Quite possibly my favourite endorsement of all time. 😂

Thank you both. Really.

Woodhall Manor, Woodbridge. 📸

Hannah got in touch wondering if I’d travel a little outside my usual patch for her wedding day. Absolutely, I love a road trip, especially for days like this.

Woodhall Manor is the kind of venue that makes you slow down on arrival. A sweeping Suffolk estate with a traditional manor house and every corner gives you something to work with. I genuinely lost count of the locations. In the best possible way.

But the moment of the day? Hannah’s dad Mark and brother Rob, suited up in full medieval Knights armour for a Knights Salute ahead of the ceremony. I’d never photographed that before. We captured it as a short hybrid video piece - a special request, and one I was more than happy to honour.

Twenty guests, full roam of a venue built for considerably more, and a couple who gave everything to their day. The intimacy of a small wedding in a grand space hits differently.

Worth every mile for an incredible couple and a wild, fun day.

You might know me. You might have forgotten. Either way - hi. 👋
I’m Mark. I shoot weddings, headshots, commercial work, and the occasional thing that doesn’t fit neatly into a category.

I work across Cambridgeshire - and occasionally further afield when the brief calls for it.

Been doing this for 15 years. Still love it!

Already booked for this year? I’m looking forward to working with every single one of you. And if you’ve been meaning to get in touch - now’s a good time.

Editing day. The part clients don’t always see, and the part that takes longer than almost anything else.

There’s a lot that goes into getting from a good shot to a finished image. The small details most people wouldn’t clock on first look, but would absolutely notice if they were left in.

Been trying a new AI tool that removes people from backgrounds - it’s earned its place in the workflow. Not because it cuts corners, but because it handles the repetitive stuff so I can focus on the bits that actually need an eye on them.

The Ritz, Paris. Claire came to me with the idea and I said yes before she’d finished the sentence.

Claire’s been a client for a while now - her shoot concepts have got progressively more ambitious, and her confidence in front of the camera has grown with them. This one marked her mum Rosemary’s 80th birthday, and the two of them in those surroundings was something else entirely.

Some jobs you do. Some jobs you remember.

If you’ve got an occasion worth shooting properly, let’s talk. 📸
