Chris Gomersall Wildlife Photography This is my wildlife photography business page, where I post news about my recent work and updates on photo workshops and tours. AWARDS.

I've been a full-time professional photographer since 1984. I spent 14 years as the in-house photographer for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, and have been self-employed since 1998. I lead lots of tours and workshops for wildlife photographers, and act as a training partner for Nikon (UK) Ltd. I was a proud participant in the ground-breaking 2020VISION project. My most recent book "

Wildlife Photographer - a course in creative photography" was published by Frances Lincoln but unfortunately is now out of print. Overall winner, GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2007. Category winner, Bird Photographer of the Year 2016. Several awards in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition since 1989.
