Finally got my own space to work from. Old garden building, still needs a proper tidy and a few things moved, but the setup's in, it's comfortable, and I spent the whole day out here today. Genuinely great. Desk's a bit of a hand-me-down mix, monitor's mid-update in that second shot, but it works, and it's mine.

Impromptu beach day at Hunstanton with the girls today. Long one, over 15k steps and 6.52 miles for me, a fair bit more than that for two small legs each. Did the boat ride, did the walking, did the lot. Pizza Hut on the way home, both asleep 10 minutes down the road... Proper way to ease out the school holidays.

Did Clip n Climb with the girls yesterday. Genuinely brilliant day. Then discovered this morning that 45-year-old me sends an itemised invoice for things 25-year-old me used to do for free. Add a fortnight of DIY on top and my body's basically filed a formal complaint. Evidence attached, and no, nobody sent me this, I genuinely needed to grab it today.

NIVEA MEN Power Q10 Moisturiser. Been using it a couple of weeks, folded straight into the normal shave-and-out-the-door routine, no extra step. Absorbs fast, no greasy residue, no fighting it before you can put a shirt on. Can't verify what the Q10 is doing long term, but I can verify it doesn't clash with the school run timeline, which is the only metric that matters to me most mornings. No reaction, no lingering scent. 7.5/10. Does the job, doesn't ask for attention.

YO! Crispy Chicken Kit, Korean style sweet chilli, from the first Hello Yummy Box (the kids have rebranded it the "yumyum box," which is now permanent whether I like it or not). Air-fried, served over rice. Genuinely good heat on this one, not the polite kind that pretends to be spicy then apologises. 8/10, would make again.
