Our next meeting is in the Burbage Legion (SN8 3AJ) side room this Thursday 8th at 8pm, where we will be photographing abstracts of paper and light.
Feel free to pop along for a friendly welcome to see what we're getting up to. No cost, except the temptation of the bar!

Our January meeting will be this Thursday (11th), 8pm in the Burbage Legion side room.
We'll start the year with an informal get together, so please bring along examples of any recent work/projects you'd like to share (digital or print), any equipment you'd like to share or discuss, or any questions or advice you'd like. Or just stop by to have a look at some nice pictues!
No cost to join us, beyond the temptation of the bar.

We had a very pleasant walk around the local streets this week, admiring the excellent standard of Christmas lights up in Burbage. Please see below a selection of images taken before the pub called.
Our next meeting is Thursday 11th January. Happy Christmas!

December's meeting is this Thursday 14th, for shooting of Christmas lights in the village and talking 'bokeh'.
Forecast is acceptable at the moment, but we can have a Christmas drink and share photos otherwise.
Meet at 8pm at the Burbage Legion (SN8 3AJ). No prior skills required, bring a camera, or just come for a walk and a chat.
Let us know if you're coming so we know whether to wait a little while.

We are looking to re-arrange, probably Wednesday 22nd, to accommodate a guest speaker on bird photography.

A slightly chilly night warmed by some good results. The club mopped up the atmosphere and the lights too.

Reminder photography club's on tomorrow night. Meet 19:45 at the Burbage Legion to carshare, or 8pm at the Town Hall steps in Marlborough. Bring a mono/tripod if you have one and fancy a go at long exposures. Let us know if you're attending and where, so we aren't waiting around for you unecessarily.

In September we met up to have an informal catch up, sharing and discussing recent work and projects over the summer, talking shop and putting the photography world to rights. We also met with Bob, a local chap who would like us to capture a fundraising event. We are always happy to support community events and initiatives when we are available.
Our next meeting will be next week on Saturday 14th, where we will head to the Marlborough Mop Fair to take some pictures of the event, including long-exposure movement of the crowds and rides. Please get in touch if you'd like to join us.

Evening, photography club will be meeting Thursday next week (21st) at 8pm in the in the Burbage Legion side room (58 Eastcourt Rd, Burbage, Marlborough SN8 3AJ), where we will be having an informal meeting sharing and discussing recent work and projects over the summer, talking shop and putting the photography world to rights. 🙂

Evening, this week we will be meeting on Thursday (13th) at Yeliz at The White Hart pub (SN8 3AA) to take pictures for the new owners, mainly of food. Numbers will be limited, so please communicate attendance in advance. Food will be provided.

This meeting, we headed over to the Vera Jeans reserve by Pewsey, to take an evening stroll in the golden light and photograph the river, flowers, wildlife, meadows and canal.
Next meeting will be on Wednesday 12th July, and we'll be heading out to capture water in motion. Our photo topic this month is "textures".

I’m going to set up a blog about becoming a photographer.
I can just picture myself doing it.
