I am a peace activist who abhors any violence. Today I will remember all those who were sadly killed . The official breadown is as follows:
The final death toll from the attack is now thought to be 695 Israeli civilians, including 36 children, as well as 373 security forces and 71 foreigners, giving a total of 1,139.
Many of the civilians, we now know from numerous sources, were killed by Israeli soldiers with tanks & planes using the Israeli directive of Hannibal . Unfortunately they are still using that directive on the remaining hostages who live in fear of being killed by their own bombs, not killed by their captors who do everything to protect them.
Please can our government listen to the millions of UK citizens including the majority of Jewish citizens who do not support the genocide being carried out daily. Stop arming Israel and lets get some peace and justice in these war torn areas. End aparteid.

If anyone is around London Bridge at today, Eamonn Molloy's short documentary is being screened at The Scoop at 5.00p.m.
Love Letter to London is a beautifully crafted film about the street photographer Steve Hollingshead and the lead up to the recent amazing exhibition of his work at The Oxo Galley some weeks ago. The film features Andy Serkis and others endorsing Steve's unique style of black & white photographs. The work spans over 20 years of images captured at fesitvals and events around London. If you missed 1001 Days exhibition this is an opportunity to see some of this awesome work.

Happy Friday. THere is some justice in our country and fair minded people:
Eleven executive committee members of Islington North’s Constituency Labour Party have publicly vowed to support former MP Jeremy Corbyn’s independent campaign, either quitting or risking expulsion from the party.

After the recent departure of CLP chair Alison McGarry, now a string of further CLP executive members have announced they will quit and support a rival to Labour’s new candidate Praful Nargund, a local councillor.

A total of 72 members including them signed an open letter on Friday calling on voters in the constituency to back the former Labour leader, who is now standing as an independent.

Among those signing the letter were a reported 11 former CLP officers – which is understood to be a majority of CLP officers – with the statement claiming local members had been “denied the right” to choose their candidate.

Douglas is Cancelled the new Steven Moffatt comedy series on ITV X, has mixed response according to Hello! readers. I have only seen the first episode and it had me laughing out loud. Brilliantly written, acted and directed but I am fast realising that I am not the norm. I love it!

Our local Labour council has just been sent this letter.
Dear Sirs. I am incensed by the recent action of Lambeth Council who have suspended 4 of our best councillors.
I complained recently when Lambeth Council refused to back the call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, even after the ICJ had ruled that Israel was committing probable genocide against Palestinian civilians.
Your reply was that, "overseas conflict was not in your jurisdiction". Your words and actions are total hypocracy. You have no problem flying flags and acknowledging the war in Ukraine, so why are you not opposing the persecuting the Palestinians?
Mr Abrams, one of the suspended councillors, is a Jewish activist whose great grandparents suffered persecution in the pogroms of Kiev. He is a principled socialist and internationlist whose conscience told him to vote for a what millions of people in
our country know to be right. The genocide in Gaza can not go on and we need everyone to support the international human rights rulings.
Please reinstate these good people immediately

I'm sorry to have to share some devastating news. Humanity & Inclusion's office in Gaza City has been targeted in a bombing strike.

Even though our coordinates were communicated through the system put in place by the United Nations and Israeli forces to avoid targeting humanitarian premises, we didn’t receive any alert or warning.

I am deeply concerned about the pattern of striking civilian buildings such as schools and homes, as well as the offices of international organisations. This attack is just further proof that nowhere in Gaza is safe.

Thankfully, none of our staff were there at the time, but they tell me the building is completely destroyed."

We have been very quiet on FB during the pandemic. We hope all our followers and families are safe and well
At the beginning of the pandemic we produced a film for Lambeth GP Federation, giving information to all the GP s in Lambeth of new ways of working. Since last June Minamonfilm has been working with Quartz Events in the USA helping them to create virtual summits for all the industries they previously staged live events. We have edited over 400 webinars since then. Very interesting work as we have seen the other side of the USA to the one portrayed by the press and Trump. There are some amazing companies especially in supply chain, that are doing amazing things for their customers and staff. Very proud to be helping to get these messages out . It’s so successful that they are launching a similar program in the UK. Hopefully we will soon be editing some amazing messages from business.

In times of trouble we like to believe the best of people and truely the response both locally and countrywide of 'All hands on deck to protect our communities" has been amazing and often very humbling.
Minamonfilm realised we could use our skills in film making to support our local community during this pandemic. We offered our GP practice our services which was immediately taken up by Lambeth GP Federation. GPs were being bombarded with pdf documents which were getting lost in inboxes. 2 weeks ago we filmed a video giving key points of the Lambeth Federation for GP's Covid 19 Response. The Federation were so grateful and impressed with the quality of the video & turnaround time. We were so pleased to be able to contribute to our community.

Minamonfilm have just been awarded a bid to make 3 videos for Lambeth council for low traffic neighbourhoods. We will be talking to different groups of people in the Streatham area asking for their views. This work fits well with our recent video contracts for health & wellbeing. A cleaner environment will improve the mental & physical health of our communities. We will keep you posted.
