Turin to Paris was another beast of a day - about 800km through some amazing scenery and COLD temperatures. I lost the feeling in my fingers for about 300km of the trip, the feeling did return after a while though which was lovely. I did spend quite a bit of time dreaming about heated grips and wood burning stoves, neither of which I had with me. It was an incredible ride though.
I spent an unbelievable amount of money on tolls, my fault for staying on the motorways... I got to Paris, avoiding the rain by a matter of minutes.

A day early posting up this episode!

This day of riding was amazing, very long, but really enjoyable. 850km of stunning Italian roads, riding past amazing little villages, and epic cities like Rome. I did stop for a chicken sandwich in Rome after I'd ridden around the city for a while...

I ended up at a friends home in Florence just in time for his birthday meal, thanks Ed Gillum. So good to see him and his family again.

Watching this footage just makes me want to do this day of riding again.

Look out for the flock of thousands of birds that flew over the petrol station when I stopped to re-fuel - quite a sight.
