Hi all,
I wanted to address something that to me is all too aware. Maybe not for the majority of you all, except to few that know me in my personal life. I've taken some time to think about where my photography was heading a few years back and it naturally went full circle back into the trees which has always been my safe space for my health. But ironically my health actually got worse, I was overweight and felt exhausted all the time which started to affect my mental health. I made a decision to step back from my camera club which I genuinely loved especially as I was part of decision making with the club I met some great people with awesome talent behind the lens, I fully endorse joining a camera club, you learn loads as you see things from a different perspective which ultimately is what photography is about.
I also stepped back from social media especially sharing my photos, I continued updating my website which ultimately fell the same way. But that was ok it gave me time to put more effort into improving my physical and mental health, which is ongoing and I can say this now some two years in I'm feeling great.
I never planned to give up photography I still love looking through my favourite websites and watching the odd YouTube channel. I photographed my last wedding shoot back in June and it was an awesome day spent with familiar and generous lovely people.
Now I don't intend to completely give up photography, I owe it too much it saved and helped me through the death of my best friend Mr Bogart and my late father without the lens and some dark nights up on the downs I would have struggled through it all.
I will start again, I'm just not going to give myself the stress of a start date or timeline that will just unduly push me too Hardik the wrong direction.
If anyone is interested, my images are for sale, but in the form of digital emails where you can print at your own discretion.
£15 pound image is all I ask, once payment is sent I'll email the digital print ready file straight to you.
I'll leave you to the last photo I took in 2023 and my face.
Thanks to everyone who even see a this post.
