This was the first person I approached to take pictures of, and she was absolutely lovely! It was absolutely nerve-wracking , but I still look at these portraits as a huge achievement.

During the protest I captured last weekend, there were three shots I got that gave me major street photography vibes, especially compared to the other photographs I got there. I thought I'd share them separately, so here is the first one!

Do I wish for the sake of the composition that the two people sitting at the front weren't there? Yes! But was that the reality of the situation? Nope, and the reality is what I want to capture, so here we are... 😆
