Wayne McConnell and Greg Staniocha have both shared their passion for photography for a number of years. Their love of historic photographers such as Henri Cartier Bresson as well more modern photographers such as National Geographic's Steve McCurry, inspire them to combine the old with the new. Our portraits are not simply pictures of people, but rather, we capture the personalities and the auras of our subjects. We capture their souls, their characters and all the things that cannot be seen. We project the unseen into our portraits to fuse the beauty of the physical form with the complexities of emotion and inner stories. That is why we named our studios 'Mirage' because it is the fusing of what is physical with what is in our mind.
