Very pleased that ELDC's SO Festival has been awarded NPO status and fantastic that the BBC used Horncastle Enchanted Town event, produced by Magnetic Events with EDLC from SO13 on it's main NPO news story. Well done to the EDLC and Magnetic Events team, great achievement.

Thousands of people came to see Roseberry Topping come to life in a stunning display of colour and light as part of the four day Odin's Glow event which took place between the 22nd and the 25th of October, 2009.
Odin's Glow - one of the biggest cultural events in the North East - explored the area's Viking history and the magical myths and legends surrounding the most important Nordic god of all, Odin, from whom Roseberry Topping originally took its name. The event, part of the regional Landscape and Heritage programme managed by culture10, was the brainchild of Redcar & Cleveland Council, which worked closely with the residents of Newton under Roseberry and producers Magnetic Events to bring the event to fruition.
