Shooting film for the fun of it, nothing else.

With how I’ve been feeling recently the digital world of social media has been such a drain, and as such shooting on digital has also felt quite full on.

Recently I’ve really fallen in love again with shooting film, not just for the look but for the whole feel of shooting on mechanical cameras, feeling the camera breath as you pull focus, the sound of the shutter as it snaps shut, the gears turning as you wind the next shot.

Instagram sometimes feels like a curse

Back out with shooting this time on my
Mamiya RB67 with expired XP2

I Love shooting on this bad boy! I’m definitely looking to shoot more portraits on film going forward, so let me know if you fancy getting creative!!

Most people don’t realise this tiny lighthouse is the oldest working one in the UK.

Perched above Ilfracombe harbour, St Nicholas Chapel has been guiding boats in for over 600 years. Built in 1321! It has been lighting the way since the 14th century.

What looks quiet now was once a lifeline for sailors finding their way home.

“A slow morning in the surf”

At the edge of Exmoor, as the moors meet the coast line is the small town of Lynton and Lynmouth.

Me, my father and a dear family friend got up early and went for a morning surf. It’s been quite a time since I last stood on a board.
Of course me being me I took my camera. Was nice to get a few shots in the morning light.
