Dumbarton boats rock.

I used to try and put a bit of effort into the names of my photographs. Anyway, I've been meaning to come here for a while. Probably close to eight years, it's about seven minutes from my house and I finally made the trip tonight.

Probably wasn't worth it.

I've shot a few dogs recently and hope to turn it into something in the near future - still need to practise a bit and maybe invest in a longer lens.

Castle Stalker.

Didn't get my feet wet. I'm learning.

Tripod may very be retired now. These fancy new cameras and lenses with their black magic - it's just not as necessary as it once was. I'll not sell it cause it's absolutely gubbed and no one would pay money for it and it still has it's uses don't get me wrong but for now, it's in the shed.

But yeah this is another photo, is that like three this year now. Check me out !

Back once again with the Cliché mountain.

Okay. I know. But it's easy, I was there and that's that. Look it's better than the zero other photos I uploaded 2021 to 2025.

The weather was crap, my footwear was not adequate but thank god I stayed and didn't run back to the car crying. I was very tempted.

Even I'm surprised.

I took my camera out today. I took a photo and it wasn't absolutely sh*te. I mean it's not going to win any competitions but it's a start ! I can honestly say I almost enjoyed it as well. I couldn't feel my hands and I forgot to take a tripod but let's ignore those little issues for now.

New years resolution - Find my camera.

It's probably about time I took some more photos. I need to get out more and see more again. I can't guarantee it will happen like many new years resolutions but today I'm like 83% confident I can at least find my camera.

More Aurora.

One on top of Duncryne or the Dumpling as it's known, just outside of Balloch. The other is the walk back to the car from Lock Rusky, the vivid pinks dancing above my head made me drag the camera back out one last time.

The Auld Kirk - St Monans

One of my favorite places in the world - we spent a few days here last week and it was the first time I've been back in a while. I spent so much of my childhood here it's embarrassing how few images I have. I didn't get the images I wanted which is fine, it means I need to go back again soon.

A misty little autumnal jaunt around some local woodlands today. The conditions were fantastic and of course I forgot to make sure my camera had a tripod adaptor fitted before I left didn't I.
