It’s about time I started to share some of my recent portraits and street photography so here goes with some of my favourite from this Autumn and of my wonderful, talented photographer friend . When I saw her change her profile picture to one that I captured, I have to say it made me feel very honoured.
I love these images, showing Katy doing what she loves. I especially love the one of her looking like she is on a Prada catwalk right in the heart of Picadilly!
These were taken on the day that Trump came to visit the UK and a protest was taking place in London. Myself and Katy used the opportunity to meet for a catch up and share the experience of taking photographs at a protest. The day started off with a visit to see exhibition and to meet the man himself in the flesh was an honour. Go see it if you can!
At the start of the day I did say to Katy, “Let’s be careful and not throw ourselves into the heart of things”, as there had been some recent trouble at protests the week before. There was nothing to worry about at all, as it all passed peacefully and on reviewing my photographs later, which I will share here, I noticed there were plenty of peaceful, considerate, reflective characters amongst the crowd.
