A bit about me

I will take this moment to introduce myself, I am Leanne and I am from Lancashire. My love of Photography started in 2012 when I took a trip to the Lake District, and randomly took a phone snap of a pine tree. It looked quite magnificent and this gave me an idea...this made me realise what I really wanted to do.

I did a small amount of muse posing for a local photographer and friend over the years and he taught me pretty much most of what I know now about the camera and editing skills. big thanks to him - Mark Eddiford of M.E.P Blackpool. His faith in Me, support and encouragement were priceless.

So I acquired an entry level Nikon in November 2014 - and off I went...Within the year I was doing paid shoots, charity shoots, a book cover, winning an Inspire Award and even selling images to the BBC...But as the years rolled on I did a very important shoot which I had a photobook made up from, im sorry to say the printing company I used (I wont name) totally messed up my “prize gift” for a person although they seemed chuffed with the result I was not, I also managed to completely wipe 42,000 images, and my laptop died this was enough for me to say “I am scrapping it” .

So away the camera went, sold on to make another person happy. Here I am 18 months on after missing it everyday - Im coming back, I have a new camera, a wiped clean hard drive and I am ready to see what the Photography world has to offer once more
