Mary’s Shell is a striking public art installation located on Cleveleys Beach near Blackpool. Installed in September 2013, the sculpture is part of the "Mythic Coast" art trail, inspired by the children's book The Sea Swallow by Gareth Thompson. The story features Mary, a heroine who uses a magical golden shell to save her village from a sea ogre. The sculpture, designed by artist Stephen Broadbent, stands 8 meters long and 3 meters tall, weighing 17 tonnes .

Happy Thursday, everyone! A little rain just makes the day feel extra cozy—let’s make the most of it!

Anyone who knows me — especially those who’ve joined me on my nature adventures — knows I’ve spent ages chasing the perfect shot of a robin. Well… I’ve finally done it. I’ve captured Mr. Robin! 🐦📸

It’s been a journey of patience, muddy boots, and quiet moments, and I couldn't be happier with this little guy.

If you haven’t been to see the Southport Fireworks Competition, you are missing out!

Bring the family, grab some snacks, have some fun on the rides and warm yourself up with some hot chocolate. During the event, there was three displays conducted by Dynamic Fireworks, Arts of Sparks and Fully Fused. All equally amazing but with their own unique touch.
