I have done soooo much photography work today whilst Sabrina has had her first day at nursery including:

- buying perishable props
- back to school photoshoot (approx. 45 mins)
- collaboration with a model using two backdrops (approx. 90 mins)
- 4/5 different still life compositions (all the time in-between!

Can't to start looking through everything this evening and I'll have lots of portfolio work to share with you all very soon ☺️

An experimental hygge-inspired still life composition #1 for my second assignment. I actually found these really difficult to take due to the lack of natural light and having never really photographed candles/fairylights before - it's very different to doing portrait photography with my studio lighting. I like some of the elements though so might try one again with more daylight. These images are unedited.

I can’t believe my little girl officially starts nursery next week 🥹

It is such a big milestone for both of us — and it also marks my official return to work!

Sooo excited about this after Sabrina and I were invited to check out Splat Messy Play North Warwickshire & Hinckley this morning for 'That's Not My...' week. We had a fabulous time ✨

I'm not kidding when I say my seasonal diary is booking up VERY quickly! And I'm so thrilled to be working with some amazing local baby groups and childminders.

I'm actually in a position where I might not be doing very much (if any) supply teaching in December already!

All set up and ready for today’s Personality Portrait session for a very special 1st birthday! 🥳🩷

My client originally had her heart set on a pink backdrop, but after a little re-consultation on Friday, we decided that my brand new white backdrop with a pink rug would be the perfect fit instead. 🩷🤍

And this is a perfect example of why there is so much more to being a photographer than simply taking the photos during the session 📸

I spend a lot of time communicating with each of my clients before they arrive at my home studio — getting to know what they want, understanding their vision, discussing options and making sure we have the perfect set-up ready for them 🤍

As I already have 7 baby group/childminder bookings in the diary for Christmas photos (!), I thought it was probably time I shared my Christmas availability with my lovely clients too! 🎄👀

I will be running Christmas Minis on Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays from 2nd November until 18th December, with some weekend availability too.

One thing I'm doing a little differently with this year's seasonal sessions is putting the focus where it belongs... on your child. ❤️

Rather than an elaborate set stealing the attention, these Christmas Minis will be done in my Personality Portrait style. The simple red OR white backgrounds, combined with a few carefully chosen Christmas props, allow your little one's personality, expressions and festive outfit to really shine. 🎄✨

The result? Timeless portraits with a fun seasonal twist that you'll still love long after Christmas has passed. ❤️

A £25 deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remainder to be paid on the day.
