*** UPDATE OFF GEORGE'S FAMILY***
Missing 85-year-old’s incredible journey so far.
Please help and check your CCTV and dashcoms.

Neston man, George went missing on Tuesday the 25 June 2024 around 8:45 from Bridge Street Neston. He headed toward Ellesmere port firstly.
Although not confirmed, it is a possibility that George has had some form of medical event which has affected his sense of direction and time. It seems he is desperately trying to find his way home.
He has walked an Incredible distance of over 40 miles! With little stopping and possibly no food (we are unsure of this.
Now the family consisting of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends along with the Police are trying their best to track him. With some incredible confirmed sightings.
The last confirmed sighting was on Wednesday at 02:10am walking laboured past Texaco garage A5026 heading toward Caerwys.
George is 85 years of age and a very fit man an ex armed forces veteran. He is a quiet lovely man family man with lots of friends locally.
After contacting lots of local people and drawing a blank, the family raised concerns that he had not returned to the Police On the Wednesday. The Police arrived quickly and were very good and understanding. After a few days of no sightings at all. The family were increasingly concerned as you can imagine. Eventually, a break, the family and Police managed to track him via private and business CCTV. On Friday 28/06/24 yielded the first confirmed CCTV sighting and the trail began. The family are still doing this as I type.
This is his walking journey so far: -
Tuesday the 25th June 2024, George left his home in Neston for a regular walk.
Tuesday at 13:17 - first CCTV sighting on Hooton Road outside Sols Campervans heading toward Hooton approximately 4 miles.
Tuesday at Hooton rd junction to Rivacre (B5132) several confirmed sightings to this point approximately 7 miles in total.
Tuesday at 14:41 B5463 roundabout at Rossmore Rd he was picked up on CCTV crossing over the road (we think he had walked down Rivacre Valley). approximately 8.5 miles in total.
Tuesday at 15:09 -Co Op CCTV on Overpool Road picked George up heading down Overpool Road.
Tuesday at he goes straight on at the Sutton Way roundabout then CCTV at two private houses confirm he was heading near Whitby High School
Tuesday at around 13:53 - CCTV at the Woodland Public house confirmed he had turned right heading toward Strawberry Roundabout approximately 10 miles in total.
Tuesday at around 15:57 - CCTV from a Petrol Station at Strawberry roundabout confirmed George was seen. He may have headed straight on then decided to turn right and come back on himself then onto the A5117 it is unclear.
Tuesday at 17:01 - George was seen on CCTV at Ash Metals on the A5117 heading toward the M56 Roundabout. Approximately 11 miles in total not counting detours.
Tuesday at 17:38 CCTV at Foxes tea room confirms George heading to North Wales on By pass lane.

It shows his actual clothing with distinct sketchers, blue edging on his coat and all black hat. He has his favourite stripy jumper on, just in case at some point he takes his coat off.
