Out with the macro lens again, this ones shot with the Laowa 180mm macro lens about as close as it will go... this lens goes over the 1 to 1 and manages 1.5 to 1 magnification. Its an interesting and well made lens with an odd combo of manual and autofocus modes. This is a single photo shot at f13 1/200th on the shutter - all natural light with an ISO of 1000 on the Nikon Z8 body. Its had a little tweaking to taste but nothing much.

I love a good moon shot, This is about as good as I can get with a Tamron150-500 at 500mm - f10 1/500th ISO3200 on the Nikon Z8 body. Its cropped as you would expect, you need 2000mm to get a frame filling moon without the need for a crop ! I find clean pollution free air helps a great deal. This was shot out in the peak district :)

More fab Details at Clumber Park NT, this time close in macro shots. My new Nikon Z8 paired with the interesting Laowa 180mm macro lens makes for a fun close in combo. The Gardens at Clumber are looking splendid already and Im sure as the season progesses they will look even better :)

Lots more shots from Clumber Park NT, this time focusing on the details, there are some lovely chances for still life photography at Clumber, these were shot with my new Nikon Z8 paired with the impressive Viltrox 85mm f1.4 pro (Viltrox Global User Group). The Nikon body paired with the Viltrox lens renders these in a beautiful way 🙂
