On Saturday 28 February, we were delighted to host our Volunteer Thank You and Civic Awards, celebrating the incredible people who make Biddulph such a special place.
The afternoon was opened by John Robinson, who also acted as Master of Ceremonies, and Mayor Councillor Adrian Lawton who warmly welcomed guests, thanking the volunteers, community champions, groups and businesses who give their time, energy and care to support others. All attendees received a certificate in recognition of their contribution.
Guests enjoyed a fabulous buffet kindly provided by Toni's Treats, and were entertained by Geoff, before the Civic Awards (voted for by the public) were presented.
