Happy Friday! ♥️🙋🏻‍♀️

I realised it’s probably been a while since I’ve properly shown my face on here, so I thought I’d reintroduce myself for anyone who’s recently started following along.

I’m Victoria, the person behind the camera, behind the editing screen and the one replying to your emails, helping with timelines 🫶🏼

These branding photos were actually taken a little while ago now. If you’ve been following along recently, you’ll know there’s now a much bigger baby bump involved! I very strategically hid it because I desperately needed some updated branding photos before wedding season got even busier.

I absolutely love this job and genuinely feel so lucky that I get to do it. Meeting incredible people, being trusted to capture such an important part of their lives, and then getting to relive it all whilst editing never gets old.

The funny thing is, I absolutely hate being in front of the camera myself. Which is probably why I’ve spent years learning the best light, the most helpful prompts and all the little things that help people feel comfortable in front of mine. If you’re worried about feeling awkward, trust me, I completely understand.

A few random facts about me…

• I have two very fluffy chihuahuas who completely rule the house.

• I love fantasy films and series. Harry Potter, Twilight, Divergent and The Maze Runner are all on regular rotation in this house.

• My music taste is all over the place. One day it’s Mamma Mia, the next it’s The Lumineers, country music from my year living in America, or a bit of Bring Me The Horizon and Don Broco. 😄

• Despite discovering I’m apparently allergic to coffee, I’ll still occasionally risk it for a toffee nut latte in cosy season ☕️😂

I’d probably describe myself as a sensitive, positive person who genuinely cares a lot about people. If you enquire with me, you’re never just another booking in the diary. I want you to have an amazing experience, an amazing day, and photos you’ll love looking back on.

A beautiful Kos Engagement Session 🥹

Rachel & Joe flew me out to Kos to photograph their wedding, and three days before the big day we met up for an engagement shoot around the town before heading back to their Airbnb for a few final photos overlooking the sea.

The day before the wedding we met up for drinks, went over the plans with the other suppliers, and then they headed off to meet all of their friends and family who had arrived for the celebrations.

I honestly wish I could do this week all over again. The most gorgeous Airbnb, a beach wedding in Kos, incredible food, and the loveliest people. 🫶🏼

I’m so behind on sharing galleries because I always end up with far too many favourites of every wedding I shoot, but this wedding definitely deserves a place on the grid. I’ll get there one day 🙊🤍

Swynford Manor✨

Looking back through Lauren & Lewis’ wedding day and honestly, I know I say it all the time, but I’m so grateful that this is my job. Getting to meet couples like these two, being welcomed into such an important day, and being trusted to capture it all is something I’ll never take for granted.

Lauren & Lewis were an absolute dream to photograph. Such a lovely couple, surrounded by brilliant people, and a day filled with so much laughter, excitement and love from beginning to end.

I genuinely love what I do, and days like this are a huge reminder of why 🤍

Another super busy day of wedding edits today and honestly, I’m so excited about how these images are coming together! I know I’ve got an abundance of gorgeous galleries still waiting to be sorted through and shared too 😆

I’m calling it a day now, but I’ll be back at my desk tomorrow to carry on editing the rest of this beautiful wedding.

For now, I couldn’t resist sharing this favourite from Morocco. The sunset light, the reflections in the pool and the incredible backdrop made this one feel extra special 🤍

Had a full day of editing again today and I’m absolutely obsessed with how these wedding photos are coming out. 🤍

I genuinely can’t wait to share more from this gallery. I’ve been sat at my desk all day with Harry Potter playing on my iPad in the background, making the most of these cooler days before the hot weather returns.

I don’t know what it is, but editing when it’s 27°C+ just feels so much harder. So I’m trying to get as much done as possible while the temperature is being kind to me! ☀️

Blackfriars Priory wedding photography is honestly such a dream for couples who love a venue with loads of character already built into it. The stone walls, the huge windows, the warm tones in every room… everywhere you turn feels like another perfect backdrop without needing to overcomplicate anything.

These photos feel so timeless to me. The movement in the dress, the curls, the light pouring through the windows. It all came together in such a natural way and made this whole gallery feel really cinematic in the softest way.

I never actually thought I’d reach that point in pregnancy where I’d be like “ok… I’m done now” 😂 but this heat is definitely making me a bit cranky. Up until now I’ve honestly felt totally fine, so I can’t complain too much.

I’ve had quite a few people asking if I’ll still be shooting weddings next year and the answer is absolutely yes 🫶🏼 Me and Bradley are very much a team and when I have weddings, he’ll be with the little one. He doesn’t work weekends and a lot of my weddings fall on weekends anyway, so realistically there won’t actually be a huge amount changing! I’m due at the beginning of July and I’ll be back shooting weddings this September ♥️

One thing about me is that whilst I know I’m going to absolutely adore this new chapter of life, I also genuinely love my job. I love photography, I love weddings and I love everything that comes with it, so it’s definitely not something I want to step away from for a huge amount of time.

It might mean I take on slightly fewer weddings each year, but I’ve always been quite intentional with that anyway because I never want couples to feel rushed through the process. I want to give every wedding the time, care and attention it deserves because not only do I want you to have the best day ever, I want you to have the best photos ever too 🥹♥️

The biggest congratulations to Jade & Brad! 🤍✨

What a BEAUTIFUL way to start off the bank holiday weekend. High House Weddings in Essex was honestly stunning in every single direction you looked and these two looked absolutely incredible all day long. From the gardens to the evening light, everything came together so perfectly and I already know this is going to be one of those galleries I struggle to stop editing because I have too many favourites already 😭

Such a genuinely lovely day to be a part of and I cannot wait to share more from this wedding soon 🥹

Yesterday’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous. The venue itself was so pretty and every little detail worked so perfectly together. 🤍

I actually ended up stuck in about four hours of traffic last night and didn’t get home until 1am. I honestly couldn’t even be mad about it because I was just so relieved it happened at the end of the wedding day and not on the way there. It really does show how you just never know what’s going to happen with travel.

We live on an island and the main bridge onto the island has shut, so most people have been using the little bridge instead. Between holiday traffic and people not wanting to leave the island because of the queues, it has been absolutely manic here this weekend. A drive that normally takes me 10 minutes took nearly 3 hours last night. 🫠

After going out for such a lovely breakfast this morning in the sunshine, I’m now back this afternoon updating all of the wedding onto SSDs, backing everything up properly and going through some sneak peeks for the previews. I genuinely cannot wait to edit these properly because I already know they’re going to be some favourites for sure.

These photos were taken in the cloisters at Gloucester Cathedral, otherwise known as the Harry Potter corridors at Hogwarts. ✨

The Secret Garden in Kent is always such a gorgeous venue to photograph at. The gardens there are unreal and there are so many little corners that work beautifully for photos throughout the whole day.

I also still can’t get over these sage green bridesmaid dresses paired with the warm tones from the flowers and suits. Such a good combination. 🤍

Bags are all packed for another wedding today, this time over in Essex, but first… a little throwback to this beautiful day at The Secret Garden.
