Our first half-day Falconry Photography Workshop, in conjunction with East Sussex Falconry, was a complete success today. We had a variety of photographs, some experienced, some not attending, who all left with some incredible shots. The aim of these workshops is to help new and established photographers to gain skills they wouldn't normally learn by sharing our experiences of the birds and how to get the best photos. Many of the attendees today had never used manual settings - and most of them finished the day using full manual modes on their cameras. This allows for more control over your images and is a valuable skill to learn. It was a packed three hours with a variety of birds, not only in full flight, but they had the chance to get some static close-up shots too.
