Portugal, but completely their own.

An outdoor ceremony, confetti in the air and that just-married feeling written all over their faces.

This is always the part we love most. Letting the day unfold naturally, staying close enough to catch the emotion and atmosphere, then stepping in only when the moment calls for something a little more considered.

Destination weddings have a different kind of energy. A little slower, a little warmer, and somehow everyone feels fully in it.

Planning a destination wedding in Italy or Europe? This is what it can feel like.

Hailee & Dylan’s wedding at Villa Mura in Sorrento had everything we love. An incredible setting, a sea facing ceremony, beautiful styling, long golden evenings and a party that carried well into the night.

Our approach is predominantly documentary. We melt into the background, let the day unfold and capture the people, atmosphere and moments as they naturally happen.

Then, when the light and setting are right, we step in for a handful of timeless editorial portraits with just a hint of Vogue. We also shoot film alongside digital, adding another layer of warmth and nostalgia to the story.

And Sorrento? A pretty spectacular place to get married.

When choosing your photographer, don’t just look at a handful of images on Instagram. Take the time to explore full wedding galleries. It’s the best way to get a real feel for how an entire day is documented and what it would be like to have The Three Bears there with you.

We like to melt into the background and let you be you, enjoying your wedding day with the people you love. The hugs, the nerves, the chaos, the ch*****ne, all of it captured as it naturally unfolds.

Then, when the light and moment are right, we’ll step in for a handful of editorial portraits. Timeless, elegant, with just a hint of Vogue energy.

Old Court has very quickly become a favourite of ours. Beautiful light, incredible character and Strangford Lough as the backdrop. Hard to beat.

What I love about film is the way it slows everything down.

One frame at a time. Then you stop, reload and begin again.

Film does not give us the speed or colour accuracy of digital, and that is part of what makes it so beautiful. It asks you to be more deliberate. There is a softness, texture and feeling to it that is simply its own.

Perfectly imperfect.

The first photograph in this sequence was taken just before Hailee and Dylan’s ceremony in Sorrento.

They chose to have a first touch without seeing one another, so they stood either side of the wall, reached for each other’s hands and shared a few quiet moments together before everything began.

The photographs that follow are simply a few of our favourite film frames of them as a couple.

We are so excited to share more.
