Tim Hinchliffe, Photographer Tim Hinchliffe photographs people; acting, singing, dancing, getting married, having a party, or just sitting there looking back at him. Much obliged.

Whatever people do, Tim photographs them, doing it. "The Small Fakers" at the The Playhouse, 5th May. And not bad at all. I'm more of a Humble Pie man myself, but as Steve Marriotts go, this guy absolutely has the voice and the energy. A good evening.

"Tick, Tick...Boom". Panther Productions @ The Gulbenkian Theatre. The rest of this week and twice on Saturday.
It is widely accepted that I am to Musical Theatre criticism what Mahatma Gandhi was to the flute, but I know what I like. And I liked this. It's witty, literate and New York smart. Unusually for a modern musical, many of the tunes stayed with me even beyond the theatre car-park. And it is here expertly presented by three engaging, hard-working, and almost annoyingly talented performers. They deserve many bums on many seats.
So, to those of my acquaintance who are devotees of the Musical which is, on reflection, all of you, I very much recommend a trip to the Gulbenkian. It's not far. Now go already.
